Bevy Smith celebrates book launch with D-Nice

Bevy Smith celebrated the debut of her memoir “Bevelations: Lessons from a Mutha, Auntie, Bestie” by sipping Moët while visiting D-Nice’s virtual hot spot, Club Quarantine, on Tuesday.

D-Nice spun tunes before interviewing Smith, who’d spent the day doing interviews with “Good Morning America,” her SiriusXM boss and mentor Andy Cohen and others.

“You saved the best for last,” D-Nice quipped. Smith fired back, “You’re my cherry on top, my love.”

As Smith and D-Nice reminisced, Smith shared tales of her time as a fashion ad exec and as a host on our own “Page Six TV.” (She said she consulted Cohen about taking a role on the gossip TV series, and that he also published her self-help memoir on his own imprint.)

Swizz Beatz, Deborah Cox, Shirley Murdock, DJ Clark Kent, Melba Moore, DJ Marjorie “Mad Marj” Gubelmann and Miss Lawrence were some of the friends who popped into the Instagram Live feed to fête the author.

Smith followed up D-Nice’s bash with a Bloomingdale’s “On Screen” event hosted by Tituss Burgess.

She dedicates her book to her “mommy, daddy, [brother] Gerry, and [sister] Stephanie… thank you for loving and nurturing me.”
