Facebook and Twitter Take Steps to Limit Calls for Violence

Facebook and Twitter are taking steps to remove posts or limit sharing of posts inciting violence after a mob entered the U.S. Capitol Wednesday.

Facebook Inc. and Twitter Inc. said they were limiting the spread of dangerous content, as the social media platforms scrambled to tamp down commentary that could further inflame protests at the U.S. Capitol.
