Mets star Michael Conforto engaged to girlfriend Cabernet Burns

Michael Conforto’s favorite fan got a ring this offseason.

On Wednesday, Cabernet Burns announced her engagement to the 27-year-old Mets star, revealing Conforto had popped the question earlier this week.

“1.11.21 – For once in my life I’m absolutely speechless,” Burns began on Instagram.

“Michael, I love you more than anything else in this world & I cannot wait to be your wife! Spending forever with you is everything I could ever want. I love you, fiancé!” she continued.

Burns also posted a series of photos from the picturesque engagement, geotagging Zadun, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve resort in Mexico.

The future newlyweds received a flurry of well-wishes on social media, including a touching note from Alex Cohen, wife of Mets owner Steve Cohen.

“@StevenACohen2 and I want to congratulate @mconforto8 and Cabernet on their engagement! We’ve been happily married for almost 30 years and wish you both only the best. Enjoy every minute of this very special day!” Alex tweeted Wednesday evening.

Burns is the vice president of Prom Series, an organization that curates “a once in a lifetime experience for foster girls to build confidence & worth.”

She has been dating Conforto for years, sharing photos of the two on Instagram back in 2015.
