Suspect had loaded gun inside Brooklyn court

A suspect who was arrested earlier this week was still carrying his loaded gun when he was taken to a Brooklyn court, law enforcement sources told The Post.

The suspect had been arrested in Williamsburg Wednesday night and then taken to the 90th Precinct, where he was placed in a holding cell until his arraignment at Brooklyn Criminal Court the following day, sources said.

The fully loaded .22-caliber pistol was found on the suspect at Brooklyn Central Booking, according to the sources.

Cops said the three officers who handled the arrest were briefly stripped of their guns and shields, but were later placed on active duty.

“The incident is under internal review,” an NYPD spokesperson said.
